That's how long it takes my microwave to boil two cups of water for tea.
Technically the two cups of boiling water could be used for things other than tea,
but that's what I use it for.
And it takes 3 minutes and 33 seconds.
Do you have any idea what you can accomplish in 3 minutes and 33 seconds while you're waiting for water to boil so you can have a nice, cold glass of tea?
I can go to the basement and throw in a load of laundry (3 min. 33 sec.)...
help London with a whole page of homework (except math homework) (3 min. 33 sec.)...
edit and save two pictures (3 min. 33 sec.)...
take the trash out and burn it (3 min. 33 sec.)...
and mop the whole kitchen floor (3 min. 33 sec.).
Except, if I mop the floor it sort of doesn't work very well because then I have to go back in the kitchen to make the tea and the floor isn't dry.
Then I leave foot prints across the floor that I just mopped which is a complete and total waste of 3 minutes and 33 seconds of my day.
Unless I leave a path to walk through, which I've done.
This reminds me of a movie in which the main character's girlfriend gets shot in a robbery and he figures out that before the gunman had a chance to pull the trigger he had like 4 seconds to act.
But he didn't.
So he spends the good first part of the movie figuring out all the things he could do in 4 seconds, like tie his shoe and whatnot, and wallow in his sorrow and the fact that he didn't act when he could have to save his girlfriend's life.
It was tragic.
But probably a violent movie from the sounds of how it started....I'm sure he eventually got revenge somehow.
So if you know what it is, don't tell me...I don't want to promote violence.
Instead, you could tell me what you've found that you can do in 3 minutes and 33 seconds...
other than boil water for tea.
And, ahem...
let's keep it clean.
